Summary

The Provider Enrollment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Provider Enrollment team for Louisiana Medicaid. In addition to the responsibilities of a people leader, this person will manage to the desired outcomes of the department to ensure the team is meeting Federal, State and Agency guidelines and service level agreements with the client while making sure team activities are cost-effective and high-quality.

Your role in our mission

  • Hire, train, coach, lead and evaluate non-exempt Provider Enrollment Analysts (hybrid and remote) as required to meet all productivity, quality, and customer service expectations. Take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage provider enrollment team resources and workflow to reach maximum productivity and meet service level agreements. Monitor the overall performance of the enrollment team on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
  • Manage the enrollment application process to promote compliance and process enhancements including tasks to plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, timeliness, efficiency, and output.
  • Manage complex relationships to ensure good client relations.
  • Strategic planning and execution to ensure the team can dynamically meet the requirements of our fiscal agent contract for Provider Enrollment.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in related field and three years of experience in contact center operations, provider services or an agency program area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience managing in a provider contact center, provider enrollment or other provider services teams in Medicaid or other major public or private health care programs.
  • Five or more years of leadership / supervisory experience managing large teams.
  • Five years’ experience in which problem solving and research were major keys to success.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Medicaid provider functions.
  • Experienced in being in a primary resource in a client facing role.
  • Involvement in team start-up activities, preferred.
  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate productively with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and practical solutions on time.
  • Effective documentation, written and verbal communications skills to convey complex information in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills and ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and see projects through from inception to completion on schedule.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills to effectively lead a remote team.

The pay range for this position is $78,800.00 - $112,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
