This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

The Release Manager ensures the correct configuration items are assembled to build an application and are released to the appropriate environments in a repeatable manner. This includes planning the schedule for releases, the content of the releases, and ensuring only tested and approved changes are included in the release to be deployed to any environment during the lifecycle. The RM will provide planning and communications regarding releases to all environments.  RM will collaborate with vendors, software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage/execute build and deployment processes productively. The RM will ensure/produce deliverables to articulate the movement of releases environments through the lifecycle, will capture and communicate the events leading to the creation of environments, and will update environments with all the model changes. The RM will also maintain the release schedule and ensure the work associated with the flow of the environments is done in a timely manner.This role is strictly involved in the release management & deployment of the product software and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. Your role in our mission

Release Planning & Coordination
Define and manage the release schedule across multiple teams and projects - project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks within project/build/release/sprint.
Coordinate with development, QA, product management, DevOps, and support teams 
Ensure all stakeholders understand timelines, dependencies, and risks - Serves as liaison between applications team and operations team
Release Process Management
Establish and maintain release governance, standards, and best practices.
Establish version control policy, branching strategies policy, and release documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements (if applicable).
Build & Deployment Oversight
Work with DevOps or engineering teams to manage build pipelines and CI/CD workflows - Directs, coordinates and facilitate activities of project personnel to ensure deployments schedules
Ensure builds are stable, repeatable, and aligned with release expectations - Ensures all release are deployed on time, while meeting the expectations
Ensures all change orders and configuration items are documents CM standards 
Approve and trigger deployments to environments.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Verify that QA testing is completed and quality criteria are met.
Facilitate go/no-go decisions with leadership based on readiness.
Communication & Reporting
Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required
Act as the central communication point for release status, issues, and timelines - Pre and post communication to stakeholders
Provide regular progress reports and post-release summaries.
Communicate changes, delays, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders.
Environment & Configuration Management
Ensure proper management of configuration items, dependencies, and environment variables.
Validate environment to environment alignment.
Coordinate with infrastructure teams for environment readiness.
Support Configuration Status Accounting and Reporting (Project/Release)
Support CM Baseline Verification Audits
Continuous Improvement
Conduct post-mortems/post-release reviews to identify process improvements.
Ensure issues are logged, assigned, monitored, scheduled and verified
Optimize release workflows for reliability, speed, and automation.
Support Build and Release Management 
Coaching project team members on the use of the common configuration and release management processes and tools
Review work products of other leveraged team members
Work with development teams and/or Configuration Manager to understand impacts of branches and code merges
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

What we're looking for

Six or more years of extensive Release and Deployment Management in various operating systems and application software systems
Proficient in ServiceNow, with experience in leading ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management 
Strong project management skills, collaboration across project life cycles and experience in an Agile team structure 
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, and stakeholders. 
Great analytical and problem-solving skills 
Provides leadership and work guidance to deployment team
Experience with work management tools: Azure DevOps Boards, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Experience with Systems of Record: ServiceNow, ALM
Knowledgeable about ALL SCM Tool:  Azure DevOp Git Repo, GitHub, Team Foundation Server 
Knowledgeable about CI/CD: Azure DevOps Pipeline
Knowledgeable about as-code automation tooling: Ansible, YAML, Windows PowerShell DSC
Knowledgeable about DML: JFrog
