Your role in our mission

Primary responsibilities of the Member Services Coordinator include servicing recipients by answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling callers request, and documenting interactions.
•    Remain compliant with all PHI protocols and requirements

•    Provide a positive experience when communicating with members 

•    Appropriately document all inquiries received via phone, fax, or email for members

•    Participates productively as a member of a team.  

•    Accepts instruction and direction from leadership. Ability to manage tasks and assignments without detailed direction.
•    Identifies, prioritizes, and resolves some issues independently, and escalates more complex questions or issues appropriately. 

•    Informs clients by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information. 

•    Complies with contract requirements, business unit rules and related and legal regulations.  

•    Meet all department requirements, goals, and performance expectations

•    Complete all tasks assigned within regulatory guidelines

•    Process correspondence requests

What we're looking for

•    Prior office or clerical experience.  

•    Ability to access and retrieve information using a PC and basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.   

•    Knowledge of pharmacy insurance claims

•    Familiarity with medication names and medical terminology

•    Must be at least 18 years of age

•    High school diploma or GED required

•    2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare call center setting preferred
