We are seeking a talented career focused individual who will be responsible for supporting and managing the operations team relationships and for delivery of Gainwell services to Government client(s) in accordance with client contract requirements, oversee routine delivery of client services and be responsible for day-to-day management of the operations team. Must have strong people management capabilities and assist in daily deliverables and contract requirements. Will also be required to review and update manuals and operation SOPs. Must track strategic corporate initiatives that are tied directly to individual account goals and objectives. Strong communicator and collaborator with cross functional teams.

Your role in our mission

  • Manages, trains, and effectively communicates with contract operations staff
  • Builds relationships, collaborates effectively with contract operations and implementations to ensure successful delivery of services to client(s). Assist in the creation and/or review of client deliverables.
  • Oversight and management of contracts, specific products/services or special projects
  • Continuous monitoring and timely reporting to leadership of progress towards business goals.
  • Develops documents and manuals with appropriate standards to meet client requirements and needs.
  • Ensures communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives. 
  • Maintains grade and quality of program deliverables within defined and agreed upon program requirements.
  • Builds and manages client relationships in conjunction with the account manager and with support from Program Director, ensuring client satisfaction.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Healthcare Required (experience with Government and Client services a plus). Experience:
    • Third party liability identification and verification
    • Working knowledge/understanding of EOBs, claims in the healthcare industry
    • Recoveries
    • Quality Management
    • Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Leadership skills to train, guide and mentor the work of operations staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills (client communication skills preferred)
  • Ability to work independently, manage several projects, engage with various stakeholders (internal and external) and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to create queries, forms and reports to support data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Power Point; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas and pivot tables.
  • Proactive Problem Solver

What you should expect in this role

  • Full-time (w-2) position
  • Hybrid – Majority of work is remote 
    • Onsite training and occasional in office work may be required
    • Candidates should live within 2 hours of Des Moines, IA
    • Travel may be required up to 10%
  • Employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.
  • Company provided computer for work use.
  • For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.  Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
