Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst - Financial at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining financials and budgets for Gainwell contracts, including tracking client budget usage in collaboration with stakeholders. Regularly creating reports and presentations to clearly communicate budget status and trends. You will produce and deliver accurate monthly invoices. Serve as a knowledgeable liaison between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define, document, and share the impact of budget decisions, ensuring transparency and alignment across all parties.

Your role in our mission

Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.

  • Manage and maintain Gainwell contract financials and budgets
  • Work with the client to track the use of client budgets
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate budget status
  • Produce and deliver monthly invoices
  • Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share client budget impact 
  • Exercise your ability to basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to establish, manage, and track budgets

What we're looking for

  • 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 3 or more years of Health and Human Services experience preferred
  • 3 or more years managing state and local budgets in the Health and Human Services Industry. 
  • Must have strong financial experience specifically financial analysis, budgeting, and related skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL to manage budgets
  • Strong client communication skills, client facing experience
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel

What you should expect in this role

  • On-site a minimum of 2 days a week at office in Gold River, CA
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $78,100.00 - $103,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
