  • We are seeking a senior developer with a data-centric mindset, 5+ years of mastery in SQL, and a proven track record of troubleshooting complex technical issues. This role is for a bright, detail-oriented programmer with experience in identifying root causes in complicated systems. Your primary focus will be developing complex SQL queries and performing rigorous data validation to ensure production environments meet all technical and business expectations.

Your role in our mission

  • Expert SQL Development: Write and optimize high-complexity queries to navigate deep relational structures, analyze data flows, and identify inconsistencies.
  • Data Validation & Integrity: Serve as the primary point of contact for data quality. Develop and execute comprehensive SQL scripts to verify accuracy and audit datasets before production deployment.
  • Complex Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve difficult system issues across both the data and application layers, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.
  • Backend Engineering: Maintain and develop backend logic within the Eclipse IDE using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on the reliable interaction between the code and database.
  • Cloud Operations: Work within an AWS environment, specifically deploying logic via AWS Lambdas and managing data within S3 buckets.
  • Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in existing technical processes and research solutions to improve team capacity and data reliability.

What we're looking for

  • SQL Mastery (5+ Years): Expert-level proficiency in relational databases, query optimization, and data auditing. An unwavering focus on accuracy and the ability to catch minor errors in large datasets.
  • Java/Spring Boot (2–3 Years Preferred): Professional experience building backend services and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: A strong developer background with the ability to perform independent research to overcome technical roadblocks.
  • AWS Environment (Plus): Practical knowledge of AWS Lambda, S3, and cloud-native deployment.
  • Exstream Development (Plus): Familiarity with OpenText Exstream for document automation is an advantage.
  • Tools: High level of comfort with Eclipse and Git-based version control (e.g., BitBucket).

The pay range for this position is $77,900.00 - $111,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
