Summary

The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise workstations and server infrastructure across the organization. This role supports both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring system reliability, security compliance, and operational efficiency. The administrator will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive modernization, remediation, and migration initiatives supporting ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Your role in our mission

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Lead workstation and server deployments, patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation using tools like Qualys.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and coordinate with vendors for escalated support.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Security, Compliance & Resiliency

  • Maintain secure configurations via Intune and SCCM, supporting compliance with CIS and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
  • Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and contribute to on-call rotations for Intel infrastructure.

Cloud & Virtualization

  • Manage hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, VMware, and Hyper-V.
  • Assist with data center/cloud migration planning, discovery, and deployment using tools like SolarWinds and Splunk.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for visibility and planning, while maintaining documentation and clear communication across stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Windows Systems Administration & Infrastructure Support: 3–5 years of experience in production environments with Windows/Intel systems, including expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and core networking protocols (TCP/IP).
  • Endpoint & Compliance Management: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM for deployment and compliance, along with vulnerability management tools like Qualys and enterprise device compliance strategies.
  • Virtualization & Hardware Tools: Proficient in managing virtual environments using VMware or Hyper-V, and familiar with hardware management interfaces such as iLO and HBA.
  • Cloud, Automation & Scripting: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, hybrid infrastructures) and automation tools including PowerShell, Ansible, Python, JSON, and shell scripting.
  • Monitoring, ITSM & Operational Excellence: Skilled in using monitoring and ITSM tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow), with working knowledge of ITIL processes, escalation protocols, project fundamentals, and experience supporting data center migrations.

The pay range for this position is $64,100.00 - $91,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
