Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Provider Support Operations Manager to lead and optimize our Provider Service Desk operations in support of healthcare programs. In this hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN, you will manage a team responsible for resolving provider inquiries, claims issues, enrollment questions, and customer service escalations tied to Medicaid and healthcare operations.
This leadership position requires strong knowledge of provider relations, healthcare customer service, and claims management along with the ability to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous quality improvement. Reporting to the Account Delivery Manager (ADM), you will play a critical role in enhancing provider experience, improving turnaround times, and ensuring contractual service-level goals are consistently met.
Your role in our mission
- Lead Service Desk operations to ensure timely resolution of provider inquiries
- Manage staff performance, workload distribution, and productivity to meet contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with business units (TPL, Provider Relations, Enrollment, Finance, Claims, and EDI) to resolve provider issues effectively.
- Provide transparent, data-driven insights through reporting, dashboards, and continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations while promoting provider satisfaction.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or provider support.
- Knowledge of Medicaid processes, provider relations, enrollment, claims, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement operational improvements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

The pay range for this position is $79,000 - $112,900 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
