Your role in our mission

  • Address client/member inquiries by responding to basic questions or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Research and resolve inquiries, ensuring timely responses to all relevant parties.
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) by providing efficient and accurate support.
  • Process requests and update account records, ensuring proper documentation of all interactions.
  • Perform data entry tasks, assist with MSCAN/MSCHIP processing, and handle other related inquiries.
  • Escalate complex issues or concerns to the team lead or supervisor as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is a plus, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in a customer service role is required.
  • Office Skills: Previous experience in an office or clerical setting is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in healthcare, health insurance, Medicaid, managed care, or coordinated care is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using a PC, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
  • Harver Assessment: Requirement: As part of our interview process, all candidates must complete the Harver Assessment. This assessment helps us evaluate key competencies relevant to the role, including communication skills, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.

What you should expect in this role

  • This position is onsite in Ridgeland, MS.
  • The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $28,500.00 - $40,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
