Utilize your Medicaid (Care and case management / prior authorization) experience to support the state of Colorado Medicaid account.

Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact
- Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project
- Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results
- Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of work
What we're looking for
- BA with minimum of 5 years’ experience eliciting requirements, drafting requirements and managing requirements from initiation to closedown.
- Experience with Medical Claims Processing, specifically commercial or Medicaid.
- BA must have experience in healthcare systems and managing risk, good communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Defining and managing scope and client expectations, requirements change management and traceability
- BA preferred: experience in case management, LTSS (Long Term Support Services), prior authorization and interfaces, understands data management and mapping.
- Experienced Business Analyst with focused Testing Experience and SDLC Processes (multiple methodologies).
- Knowledge of basic computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
- Create and Maintain Business Requirements document. Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel. Team Player and creative thinker.
Specialized Skills and Experience:
• Software Development Life Cycle experience with (multiple methodologies)
• Requirements Gathering and creating deliverable documentation
• Developing structured user manuals and training
• Visualization modeling
• Business rules modeling
• Develop and executing acceptance test plans.
• Requirement Tracibility
• Experience working with project and change management tools such as Visio Flow, ALM, iTrace, rTrace.
• Experience with SQL queries
• Experience in Health Care/Health Insurance

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
