Summary

The Mailroom Clerk - Nashville, TN - Onsite is responsible for the processing of confidential documents They sort and log incoming mail into an internal system as required. Mailroom clerks also deliver messages and outgoing mail and packages. They maintain shipping and mailing supplies. Efficient and accurate data entry skills, the ability to work cohesively with other staff in a mailroom setting, and the ability to adapt to the current scanning processes, as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, are essential to the success of the selected candidate. This position will operate light and heavy mailroom equipment by performing various duties, task, and responsibilities, such as setting up, monitoring job, light maintenance, and cleaning to ensure that machines continue to run properly.

Your role in our mission

  • Operates document imaging machines to image company records. Verifies the work of less experienced personnel to ensure the imaging process meets quality control standards.
  • Commits and indexes documents. Reviews of work of less experienced personnel to ensure the commit and index process meets company standards. Ensures records are cataloged and stored per company policy and procedure to ensure the safety and security of materials.
  • Maintains, services and makes basic adjustments to equipment as required to reduce servicing costs.
  • Identifies type and category of document for imaging and enters document into appropriate database. Assist less experienced personnel in category/index determination to ensure correct entry.
  • Groups documents into appropriate batches and prepares documents for scanning. Maintains log and prepares reports to document status.

  • Participates productively as a member of a team. 
  • Completes tasks beyond general support level. 
  • Accepts instruction and direction from leadership. Ability to manage tasks and assignments without detailed direction. 

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Sorting & Delivering mail
  • Shipping outgoing mail and packages
  • Data entry experience
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. 

What you should expect in this role

  • This is an onsite position in 310 Great Circle Rd. Nashville, TN.
  • Work schedule is Monday - Friday. from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $25,400.00 - $36,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
