Summary

The Insurance/Healthcare job family utilizing Call center knowledge and expertise on insurance and healthcare. Develops and implements general insurance and health policies in accordance with state and federal laws. Provides expertise to Provider’s regarding enrollment and CVO activity as it pertains to their submitted application. Responds to provider questions with intention to resolve problems/issues. Provides support and direction to caller/provider to locate information in GAMMIS for current and future needs. Advises provider on status relating to needed documents for final review and disposition of application.

Your role in your mission

  • Manage inbound calls from providers regarding CVO (Credentialing Verification Organization) and Provider Enrollment inquiries.
  • Document each call by creating a CTN (Call Tracking Number) as a record.
  • Escalate concerns and issues to management as needed.
  • Actively contribute as a productive team member.
  • Perform tasks that go beyond basic support responsibilities.
  • Follow instructions and direction from leadership, with the ability to handle tasks and assignments independently.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve straightforward issues independently, while appropriately escalating more complex matters.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, business unit policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Contact Center or Call Center environment.
  • Preferred: Background in healthcare.
  • Experience with call center software such as CxOne or Avaya is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and web browsers (Edge/Chrome).

What you should expect in this role

  • Candidates must reside in Arkansas to be eligible for this remote position.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment related to call center operations is required.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM CST.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
  • To work effectively as a teleworker with Gainwell, employees must have a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 24 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload. Higher speeds are recommended for optimal performance.

The pay range for this position is $27,200.00 - $38,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
