Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing and configuring IT equipment, performing PC refreshes, deploying new hire setups, managing device retirements, and supporting hardware/software troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Your role in our mission
- Install, configure, and deploy IT equipment including laptops , monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Perform PC refreshers, equipment moves, and evice retirements with proper chain of custody.
- Reimage laptops and ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and basic printer maintenance.
- Provide support for Active Directory tasks such as creating/modifying AD groups, user accounts, and service accounts.
- diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Schedule and manage appointments with end users via email, IM, or phone.
- Maintan accurate documentation in the IT service desk system.
- Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Respond to and resolve IT support tickets using established procedures and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routin install, move, add, and change (IMAC) activities.
- Support project-based technical services, including hardware distribution and network equipment setup.
- Provide basic user guidance to reduce recurring issues.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and processes.
- Update documentation as needed.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of technical support experience.
- 2+ years of experoence with Actove Directory.
- Technical training in IT or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with IT escalation procedures and service desk systems.
What you should expect in this role
- This position is on-site at our Livermore, CA location.
- May require shift work or weekend availability.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $43,300.00 - $61,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
