Summary
This role supports the Disability Determination Bureau (DDB) by providing flexible administrative assistance across the phone unit, mailroom, and Deputy Director’s office. The position requires multitasking, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
Your role in our mission

Perform data entry, electronic record keeping, and document imaging.

Assist with phone coverage, mail processing, and front desk support as needed.

Support administrative functions for the Bureau’s Deputy Director.

Research, resolve, and route discrepancies to ensure compliance.

Contribute to team meetings and process improvement initiatives.

What you should expect in this role

Work onsite at 1400 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI.

Standard work schedule is 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT, Monday through Friday (with slight room for deviation if needed).

Two-week training period with full attendance required.

Rotational support across multiple functional areas (phones, mailroom, administrative support).

Direct exposure to bureau leadership and key operational workflows.
The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
