Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Claims Mailroom Manager to lead our Wisconsin Medicaid mailroom and document processing operations. In this role, you will oversee the end‑to‑end intake and resolution of claim‑related mail and electronic documents, ensuring accurate data capture, timely adjudication, and compliance with program standards. You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain best‑in‑class controls.
Your role in our mission
As our Claims Mailroom Manager, you will:

Supervise daily mailroom operations—including scanning, data entry, and routing—to support state Medicaid claim processing.

Lead a team of supervisors and clerks, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and coaching for development.

Collaborate with Claims, IT, and Compliance teams to refine workflows, implement change orders, and resolve processing bottlenecks.

Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, quality metrics, and SLAs; partner with audit teams to demonstrate compliance.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and budget planning to meet operational demands while controlling costs.
What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles within mailroom, document processing, or claims operations.

Strong knowledge of Medicaid claim procedures and customer service protocols.

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence.

Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal—with comfort presenting to leadership and external stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
