Summary

As a ​Technical Lead at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. Your role in our mission

This Technical Lead will work with the Eligibility & Enrollment team in supporting our client’s ongoing business needs and strategies.
 

  • Design and develop batch and real time interfaces for the Eligibility & Enrollment subsystem.
  • Implement new business processes and rules for demographic, eligibility, spend down, premium and case processing.
  • Develop system and programming specifications. Prepare system documentation. Participate in code reviews.
  • Monitor application performance and perform run time improvement functions. Research and resolve application production problems.
  • Follow the defined systems development life cycle processes and local procedures while overseeing the technical work on a project.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of three years of experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
  • Experience with the Recipient PS2 process, Edits and Eligibility processing systems, and with Medicare processes such as Buy-In, TBQ, MMA, EBD, COBA, SPAP, ADAP, etc.
  • Four to six years of programming experience writing code using UNIX (C, C++, shell, editors). Intermediate understanding of RDBMS database, Oracle.
  • Able to communicate design and function internally and with external clients. Experience working with clients doing detailed design work and coming up with proposed solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work with and support remote workers.

The pay range for this position is $72,800.00 - $104,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
