Summary

The role of the caseworker is to ensure that day-to-day operations are followed and productivity is maintained.  Caseworker’s responsibilities will include Intake, Valuing and the daily operations of the case.

Your role in our mission

  • Maintain check log database to ensure incoming checks are posted and credited to HMS
  • Review case aging report and distribute to staff for case follow up
  • Post checks to Case Management System
  • Contact attorneys for status of cases pending payment/settlement
  • Oversee staff and production to ensure monthly recovery goals are attained
  • Ensures staff follows established policies and procedures for the Unit
  • Maintain HIPAA adherence and quality assurance of Unit
  • Perform basic and advanced levels of document review, legal research and case management
  • Provides feedback to Unit Supervisor on daily operations
  • Prepare Subrogation Notice correspondence for liable third parties
  • Generate itemizations of claims for liable third parties when requested; obtain proper medical authorization for release of records 
  • Notify TPL of changes in interest 
  • Review medical service questionnaires
  • Process      medical record requests from Providers, Attorneys and recipients. 
  • Other duties relating to office maintenance   may be assigned

The pay range for this position is $32,700.00 - $46,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
