Your role in our mission

•    Creates and maintains Oracle databases according to local processes and best practices
•    Assumes responsibility for designated knowledge area taking the initiative to become a local subject matter expert
•    Works with developers to tune performance of queries and suggest improvements
•    Maintains database documentation
•    Communicates effectively with customers and colleagues
•    Presents and articulates technical and conceptual material in order to increase understanding of database functions, capabilities and applications
•    Performs standard Oracle DBA tasks
•    Participates on project teams and works cooperatively with other IT professionals to achieve project results
•    Interacts with a diverse group of database users including end users as well as IT management
•    Utilizes a help desk and ticketing system for tracking issues to resolution
•    Works with application developers to optimize and tune programmatic database access

What we're looking for

•    Five years of professional experience in administering Oracle databases
•    Must have experience installing, configuring and utilizing Oracle RAC systems including ASM & Oracle Database 19c
•    Must have hands-on experience utilizing OEM 13c
•    Must have hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard and understand different configurations
•    Must have knowledge and experience in troubleshooting application performance issues as they relate to database usage and must be familiar with the tools to troubleshoot performance issues

What you should expect in this role

All US location may be considered. 


The pay range for this position is $56,900.00 - $81,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
