Summary
Gainwell is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support daily processing and reporting activities at our Rochester Hills location. You will review and process information, reconcile reports, identify discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and complete assigned work within established quality and turnaround requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Your role in our mission
- Process and review operational information in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Audit and reconcile reports, records, and transactions to verify accuracy, completeness, and required documentation.
- Research discrepancies and processing errors, determine appropriate next steps, and support timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential or sensitive information in accordance with established security and privacy requirements.
- Track assigned work against quality, productivity, turnaround-time, and service-level expectations and identify opportunities to improve processes.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in business operations, transaction processing, document processing, administrative operations, production support, or a related processing environment.
- Experience reviewing, auditing, reconciling, or validating reports, records, transactions, or operational data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams, and experience working with business systems, workflow applications, or reporting tools.
- Experience identifying and researching discrepancies, errors, or incomplete information and following established procedures to resolve issues.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.

- Full-time, on-site position Monday through Friday at 1872 Enterprise Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.
- Work in a structured operations environment with established expectations for accuracy, quality, productivity, and turnaround time.
- Regular use of Microsoft Office, business systems, workflow applications, and reporting tools.
- Collaboration with team members and leadership to resolve processing issues and complete assigned work.

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
