We’re looking for the best and brightest talent to help differentiate Gainwell to Public Health and Human Service clients as we help to transform their business and optimize the way they work.

 

The Bid Manager is a part of the Gainwell Pursuit Team. The position works with senior Deal Leaders and Pursuit teams to project manage client deliverables for client events in the sales process, including, but not limited to, the response to the RFI / RFP and / or Orals engagement. The Bid Manager will lead and manage a team of professionals to assist accounts with new opportunities.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

Client Engagement

 

  • Develops the project plan, engages the appropriate people, utilizes the right resources, in addition to providing continuous leadership to the pursuit team.
  • Drives the development of the solution, proposal, and deliverables to satisfy the client’s business and technical requirements.
  • Provides hands-on management of the entire deal life cycle.
  • Serves as trusted advisor with the Deal Leader.
  • Partner with Offering Leaders and Offering Managers to execute reviews of proposal content
  • Team Leadership
  • Engages, guides and coordinates bid team resources
  • Acts as a leader and plays the role of challenger  
  • Seen as a coach and mentor to team members
  • Creates a trust-based high performing team
  • Drives the priorities and activities of team members
  • Develops a team who work together successfully across several concurrent pursuits
  • Pursuit Management
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Self-confidence in working with executives and leading teams.
  • Outstanding communications, both written and oral.
  • Very strong organization, time management, as well as collaboration skills.
  • Capable of working professionally and calmly under pressure against tight client deadlines.
  • Proactive and can anticipate issues / challenges.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:    

  • 3 years+ experience in Eligibility Enrollment or other Health and Human Services projects

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • 5 years+ experience in similar roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing business environment
  • Flexibility and agility, the ability to lead multiple streams of work or engagements at scale at any one time is central to this role
  • Provides leadership and guides the teams, stakeholders and client throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Performs an active role in the definition, communication and execution of the strategy and client engagement plan
