Your role in our mission - Key Responsibilities

Team Coordination & Mentorship

  • Support the daily activities of the business analyst team across multiple IT projects
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior analysts

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical teams
  • Facilitate the definition, documentation, and communication of business requirements and expected outcomes

Requirements Gathering & Specification

  • Lead and support the development of detailed business specifications at the start of projects
  • Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements

Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and recommend process enhancements aligned with the organization’s technology strategy

Testing & Validation

  • Validate that developed solutions meet documented requirements
  • Review and approve test cases and results to ensure alignment with business goals

Data Analysis & Impact Assessment

  • Utilize tools like Excel and SQL to perform data analysis, model business scenarios, and quantify the impact of proposed solutions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelors degree with Proficiency in Data Science and Analytics.
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare related industry, with 1 or more years of Medicaid, Medicare or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 suite of productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with Client Relations Management tools and/or Customer Experience best practices is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Excel or SQL to gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools.
  • Act as a liaison between various business departments and groups using your ability to identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
  • Assess options for process improvement.
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Critical thinking skills.

 

What you should expect in this role

  • Must live withing commuting "driving" distance of Roseville, CA for this Hybrid position, currently is 2 days a week as required in office by the client.
  • In the future, onsite frequency could be revised
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews.

The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
