Summary
Your role in our mission
- Install, implement, test and tune DB2 Database systems.
- Provide database administrator (DBA) support for application developers.
- Disaster Recovery preparedness for DB2 by maintaining and tuning backup and recovery processess.
- Tivoli Workload Schedule (aka OPC) for the new DB2 environments (non prod and prod).
- Assist in implementation of new features and program fixes in databases.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of multiple databases.
- Resolve any database issues in accurate and timely fashion.
- Oversee utilization of data and log files.
- Manage database logins and permissions for users.
What we're looking for
- Five years experience in RACF - DB2 Resources Classes
- Three years mainframe / DB2 database experience
- High volume DB2 Database and Stored Procedures running several mission critical applications.
- Knowledge of development lifecycle, copy books, link/bind/compile process.
- Knowledge of DB2 system administration using DB2 native tools, DB2 admin and DB2 log analysis.
- In-depth experience performing DB2 for zOS backup and restore, database reorg, buffer pools, and performance tuning.

- Candidate must reside in California (Roseville area or near)
- This role does require on-site work.
- Hybrid work may be considered in occasions.
- Provide on-call support after hours and weekend.

The pay range for this position is $76,100.00 - $108,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
