In this Business Analyst (BA)  position you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to Advocacy program initiatives and stakeholder engagement to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing business service strategies. You will also work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Member/Provider Services, Care/Case Management, and Quality Management. You will provide input to identify opportunities for improving Advocacy efforts, resolving case escalations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.  Here are the details on this position.

  • Assist in all operational aspects of the Advocacy Business Service and contribute as requested by other cross-functional teams, including Member/Provider Services, Care/Case Management, and Quality Management.
  • Prepare program reporting, as described in the Advocacy Business Service Plan, in collaboration with the Advocacy Director.
  • Assist with development of program policy changes and recommendations to improve services, including those that have been identified by the Advocacy Business Service, as core issues, pain points, and/or barriers to care for Members.
  • Work in conjunction with department leadership to engage in data analytics, research, and literature reviews, as well as supporting policy changes and recommendations that will reduce disparities and inequities for Members under the Advocacy program.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelors degree with Proficiency in Data Science and Analytics.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a position related to the Business Analyst job functions, with 1 or more years of Medicaid, Medicare or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 suite of productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with Client Relations Management tools and/or Customer Experience best practices is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytical software to gather, review and analyze business and industry data, including financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools.
  • Act as a liaison between various business departments and groups using your ability to identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
  • Assess options for process improvement.
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Critical thinking skills.

What you should expect in this role

  • Must live withing commuting "driving" distance of Roseville, CA for this Hybrid position, currently is 2 days a week as required in office by the client.
  • In the future, onsite frequency could be revised
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews.

The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
