Your role in our mission
- Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling.
- Design database environments and create databases
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database objects
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database security and audit solutions
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database recovery solutions
- Execute data recovery
- Manage database performance, capacity, and availability
- DBMS SW implementation, upgrade, patching
- Diagnoses and resolves performance issues. Provides expertise in database tuning including table partitioning strategies
- Works with the application team to identify and tune long running SQL statements
- Consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies
- Provide advice to business and technical personnel on data analysis principles, methods and trends using excellent written and verbal communications
- Design complex Data Transformation Strategies for Data Migration
- Lead complex Model Conversion (Data Mapping) to produce a Data Dictionary and data mapping matrix between the external software and the internal database for business function replacement
- Develop and maintain database support documentation
- Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff
- Responsible for providing hands-on experience technical support for assessing, architecting, and migrating Oracle databases to AWS
- Develops customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
- Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation
What we're looking for
• 8+ years of professional DBA experience
• Oracle 12c, 19c, with OEM and RAC experience on Linux required
• Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Data Modeler, Erwin Data Modeler experience required.
• Native AWS Services (CloudEndure, DataSync, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, RDS) Experience
• Oracle Replication experience using Golden Gate or Data Guard with VLDB databases including partitioning required

Some DBA support after hours and weekends
All US locations including remote are being considered.

The pay range for this position is $79,000.00 - $112,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
