Summary
As a Director of Service Delivery, you will be responsible for M&O functions including Cycle Time Management, File Maintenance, Change Management, interface with OTECH and ETS, application related activities on the contract and supports the Senior Project executive in the governance of this contract. Responsible for the Contractor’s systems, processes, architecture, and technical solutions under the Contract. Includes ensuring that all information technology decisions are made with consideration of their impact on the entire CA-MMIS system and subsystems.
Your role in our mission
- Directs the organization and performance of certain functional areas and the activities of senior managers. Provides staff direction with an understanding and following of established company policies and procedures.
- Oversees business activities to ensure a high standard of professional excellence is maintained among staff members.
- Directs business function including, approval of overall project plan, budgets, and work breakdown structure.
- Establishes and implements short- and long-term strategies to deliver services to customers within reasonable schedules and budgets.
- Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks, and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. Communicates broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams.
What we're looking for
- Four (4) years of experience for a Medicaid or other private sector or government healthcare payer in management methodology, processes and tools, systems architecture and design, and strategic planning and execution.
- Three (3) years of substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems including: good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features and integration capabilities; SOA principles and practices and experience with SDLC from business requirements through implementation.
- Three (3) years of proven experience in program and project management, planning, organization, budgeting, risk mitigation, development, and implementation on a Contract of similar size and scope.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university. Additional relevant management experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, assuming four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
- Certifications in the following are preferred: Project Management Professional and/or ITIL 4 Foundation.

The pay range for this position is $136,300.00 - $194,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
