In this position, you will apply intermediate‑level subject matter expertise to analyze and resolve a variety of common business issues and support projects of moderate complexity. You will exercise independent judgment within established practices, procedures, and guidelines to determine appropriate actions. As an informed and collaborative team member, you will provide analytical insights, contribute to project direction as needed, interpret policies, evaluate unique circumstances, and offer well‑reasoned recommendations.

Your role in our mission

- Formulate and define system scope and objectives using knowledge of information technology and industry knowledge/ requirements.
- Act as a liaison between client and technical solutions/ support groups, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements.
- Research, identify, and specify solutions to problems.
- Support and conduct visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design.
- Document requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools.
- Support requirements management and change management processes.
- Support aspects of the business cycle, including proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
- Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
What we're looking for
- Three or more years of Business Analyst experience in healthcare industry, including 2+ years' experience with Medicaid (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field preferred
- Experience partnering with information technology and functional business teams
- Experience analyzing, documenting, and re‑engineering business processes
- Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements using structured techniques
- Working knowledge of computer programming concepts and basic languages

What you should expect in this role

Candidate must live within commuting (1 hour driving) distance to our Tallahassee office for this hybrid position

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 - $74,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
