Summary

The Georgia Families Written Correspondence Agent is responsible for gathering information from resources and then interpreting program policy carefully to respond to Georgia Families related inquiries. Responses may be written or verbal via outbound calls.

Your role in our mission

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as processing Member inquiries from the Georgia Families Medicaid Web Portal or fax, and contact member for return mail or email.
  • Ensure escalated requests to the GA Medicaid Client are completed, accurately and timely.
  • Read incoming correspondence to ascertain nature of writers' concerns and to determine disposition of correspondence.
  • Route correspondence to other departments for reply when applicable
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
  • Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources.
  • Receive inbound calls to answer Georgia Families related questions.
  • Make outbound calls to communicate with Members when applicable.
  • Update resolution to member file accurately and timely.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two or more years of written correspondence experience with business process service delivery and improvement.
  • Customer service experience, also using Chatbot
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external clients.
  • Experience working with business solutions software.

  • This is a hybrid position. 
  • As part of the application process for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment in order to proceed further.
  • Candidates that reside in the Metro Atlanta area are encouraged to apply. 
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $29,100.00 - $41,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
