Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Assist in analyzing and documenting client's business requirements and processes; communicate these requirements to technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates.
- Assist in creating basic test scenarios to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
- Assist in developing and modifying systems requirements documentation to meet client needs.
- Participate in meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
- Execute systems tests from existing test plans. Assist in analyzing test results in various phases.
- Participate in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through phase of project.
- Act as a liaison between client and technical solutions/ support groups, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements.
- Research, identify, and specify solutions to problems.
- Support requirements management and change management processes.
- Support aspects of the business cycle, including proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
- Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results
What we're looking for
- 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst and/or Testing position
- 3 years minimum of Healthcare experience required, preferably in Medicaid or Medicare
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other software for conducting quantitative analysis
- SQL experience strongly preferred, ability to create statements and queries
- Experience with Oracle Database is also preferred
- Strong analytical, business process re-engineering skills and problem solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
- Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives
- A leader who motivates others to action and communicates key technical ideas in a digestible way

What you should expect in this role
- This position is a hybrid position and requires candidate to reside within commuting (driving) distance of Tucker, GA without needing to relocate.
- Fully remote from US locations might be considered for fully qualified candidate.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
