Summary

As a Drug Rebate Accounting Analyst at Gainwell, you will support Medicaid drug rebate programs by ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of rebate payments from pharmaceutical manufacturers. In this role, you will perform high-volume financial operations including payment posting, reconciliation, and invoice processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory and program requirements. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in accounts receivable, billing operations, payment reconciliation, or financial processing who thrive in structured, deadline-driven environments and want to contribute to programs that support vulnerable communities.

Your role in our mission

  • Post and reconcile drug rebate payments within the Drug Rebate Accounting System (RAIS) at the National Drug Code (NDC) level.
  • Balance and reconcile payments to ensure accuracy and proper financial tracking
  • Process invoices and prepare payment documentation including check and payment vouchers
  • Track manufacturer documentation to support rebate processing and audit readiness
  • Research and respond to inquiries from state agencies, drug manufacturers, and internal stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in accounts receivable, financial processing, billing operations, or accounting
  • Experience working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to balance and reconcile financial transactions accurately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

The pay range for this position is $44,200.00 - $63,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
