Summary

As a Correspondence Specialist at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills to maintain effective communication within our organization and with external stakeholders. This position requires exceptional writing and organizational skills to produce clear and professional correspondence. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple communication channels and ensuring that all responses are timely and accurate.

 

 

Your role in our mission

  • Create various types of written communication including letters, emails, and memos. This requires a strong command of language and an understanding of the target audience. Each piece must be tailored to reflect the appropriate tone and context.
  • Review all correspondence for grammar, clarity, and adherence to company policies. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to prevent misunderstandings and maintain professionalism. Effective editing ensures that all communications uphold the organization’s standards.
  • Handle queries from clients, stakeholders, and team members in a professional and timely manner. This requires not only excellent writing skills but also the ability to remain composed under pressure. Providing prompt responses builds trust and rapport with stakeholders.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and legal requirements regarding communication and correspondence. This includes understanding privacy regulations and confidentiality agreements. Compliance protects the organization from potential liabilities.
  • Oversee the flow of correspondence to ensure timely responses and follow-ups. This includes prioritizing urgent messages and routing them to the appropriate parties. A well-managed communication system enhances the organization’s efficiency.

What you should expect in this role

  • Must be a resident of the state of California.
  • Hybrid work environment 1-2 days a week in the office as needed for face-to-face and client meetings with the remainder of the time remote work. The office is in West Sacramento.

The pay range for this position is $37,500.00 - $53,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
