Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Supervisor to support operations for California’s Medi-Cal program at our West Sacramento office.
In this role, you will lead day-to-day fulfillment and mailroom operations, helping ensure the timely, accurate, and secure processing, distribution, and tracking of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, correspondence, and fulfillment materials.
You will supervise employees, monitor productivity and service levels, maintain inventory and equipment, coordinate with vendors and internal partners, and help ensure established quality, security, and operational requirements are consistently achieved.
Your role in our mission
- Lead, coach, train, and develop fulfillment and mailroom employees while monitoring performance, productivity, quality, attendance, and day-to-day workflow.
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing, distribution, and tracking of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, correspondence, and fulfillment materials.
- Monitor operational performance, quality, productivity, inventory, turnaround times, and service level agreements (SLAs), addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain inventory of fulfillment supplies, shipping materials, and equipment and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and process improvements designed to increase efficiency, accuracy, quality, and productivity.
- Partner with internal departments, customers, leadership, and external vendors to resolve operational issues, manage escalations, and support consistent service delivery.
What we're looking for
- Three or more years of experience in fulfillment, mailroom operations, logistics, shipping, distribution, production operations, or a related environment.
- Three or more years of supervisory or leadership experience, including responsibility for coaching, training, workflow management, and employee performance.
- Experience managing a high-volume production or operational environment with established productivity, quality, turnaround-time, or SLA expectations.
- Knowledge of mail processing, shipping procedures, fulfillment operations, inventory management, and package tracking systems.
- Experience working with external vendors, suppliers, or outsourced services and coordinating operational requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business or CRM systems.
What you should expect in this role
- This is a 100% onsite position at our West Sacramento, CA office. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
- You will lead employees working in a fast-paced, high-volume fulfillment and mailroom production environment.
- You will be responsible for helping the operation meet established productivity, quality, accuracy, turnaround-time, and service-level expectations.
- You will regularly interact with employees, internal departments, leadership, customers, vendors, and service providers.
- You will support inventory management, equipment maintenance, operational reporting, quality control, and continuous process improvement.
- You will handle confidential member, client, and company materials in accordance with applicable privacy, security, and organizational requirements.

The pay range for this position is $59,400 - $84,900 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
