Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Team Lead to support operations for California’s Medi-Cal program at our West Sacramento office.

In this role, you will help coordinate daily fulfillment operations while providing day-to-day guidance, training, and operational support to team members. You will assist the Supervisor with workflow priorities, quality, inventory, compliance, and service-level expectations while helping ensure fulfillment materials are processed accurately and timely.

This is a hands-on lead role that requires working alongside the team while helping coordinate daily operations and supporting employees in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Your role in our mission

  • Coordinate daily fulfillment operations and help organize workflow and priorities to support established productivity, quality, accuracy, and service-level expectations.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and operational support to team members, including answering process-related questions and assisting with workflow issues.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing guidance to employees regarding fulfillment processes, procedures, equipment, and system usage.
  • Assist with monitoring inventory levels for fulfillment supplies, shipping materials, and other operational resources.
  • Support fulfillment activities involving USPS, FedEx, UPS, postal meters, mailing equipment, and related shipping and distribution processes.
  • Partner with the Supervisor, internal departments, and external vendors to resolve operational issues and support timely and effective delivery of fulfillment services.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in fulfillment, mailroom operations, shipping, distribution, logistics, production operations, or a related environment.
  • Experience providing day-to-day guidance, training, workflow support, or operational assistance to other employees.
  • Knowledge of shipping services and processes, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, or similar carriers.
  • Experience working with postal meters, mailing equipment, shipping equipment, or related fulfillment tools.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and the ability to learn business processing systems.

What you should expect in this role

  • This is a 100% onsite position at our West Sacramento, CA office. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • This is a hands-on Team Lead role requiring you to work alongside the team while helping coordinate daily workflow and operational priorities.
  • You will work in a fast-paced fulfillment environment focused on productivity, quality, accuracy, and timely service delivery.
  • This position may require extended periods of standing or sitting and performing physical activities associated with fulfillment operations.
  • You must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $37,500 - $53,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
