Your role in our mission

Gainwell’s Provider Relations Representatives are the liaison between the VT Medicaid provider community and the State of Vermont’s agencies.  As a VT Medicaid subject matter expert, it’s the Provider Rep’s responsibility for the following:

Provider Rep Responsibilities:

  • Assist all providers within assigned counties
  • Answer provider questions regarding VT Medicaid billing, policies, procedures, etc.
  • Proactive outreach that includes:
  • New provider engagement
  • Weekly high denial review
  • Active known issues as assigned
  • Returned claims review
  • Provider visits (virtual or on-site as requested)
  • Monthly Webinars to the provider community
  • Assist state agencies as requested
  • Manage escalations from other Gainwell departments
  • Manage group provider inbox on rotation
  • Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this position is $43,800.00 - $62,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
